Then it was called the world’s largest tumor, but according to Guinness Books it is not so. It is said that this woman was carrying this tumor in her stomach for the last 7 years. Initially she thought she was pregnant, but later when she came to know that she had a tumor, she refused to get treatment due to social and cultural reasons. But when it came to the point of threatening his life, he got tired and decided to undergo surgery. This woman’s story is becoming increasingly viral on social media.

At that very time, the news of this woman came into limelight in the international media. However, the hospital staff did not reveal the identity of this woman. But, with the aim of making people aware, he had released pictures taken during the tumor and surgery, which are still going viral. At that time, doctors had said that this tumor was growing in the woman’s uterus for the last 7 years, i.e. around 2010. At first glance, it seemed as if several children were growing simultaneously in the woman’s womb. But when the investigation revealed that it was a tumor, the 40 year old woman refused to undergo surgery due to superstition. In such a situation, due to the growing tumor, the size of his stomach had increased to 137 centimeters i.e. about 4 and a half feet.
According to the doctors, the woman still did not want to get the tumor removed, but when it started taking the form of cancer and became a threat to her life, she agreed to undergo surgery. The doctor who performed the woman’s surgery told that most of the women in backward areas play with their health because of superstition. Many women even die due to lack of timely treatment. But thankfully this woman finally decided to undergo surgery. The surgery was successful and she recovered completely. Let us tell you that according to the Guinness Books of World Records, the largest tumor removed so far was a multicystic mass of the right ovary, which weighed 138.7 kg. The diameter of this growth was 1 meter (3 feet). It was completely removed from the abdomen of an unnamed 34-year-old woman in October 1991.
